Whatevs.

Sunrises aren't beautiful, they're stupid. Everything sucks when you see a sunrise you didn't want to see.

I haven't written in forever. That sucks.
There's a lot of reasons for this.

Gavin's in preschool! He love love loves it, and is doing really well - he even rides the bus!
His teacher Miss Ashlee is great, she's very young and super nice, Gavin is totally in love.

Amelie is insanely huge now.

She's now smiley and wiggley and fun.
But time consuming.
Worth it!

Oh - the other big thing!
David is working at the radio station!

He is on-air from 7 to 10 every night and has a big meeting on Friday to talk about being full time!
It's crazy awesome!

We've been doing tons of other fun things I'd love to share, but for now, Gavin's up and not feeling well so I have that to deal with. Update later!

One Month

Dear Amelie -
You are one month old now - how time flies!
I still can't believe that you're here.
My third child, my first girl.
My only baby to use a pacifier
and to have colic.
You sleep through the night already,
but those hours before bed are tough!
You are by far the squirmiest thing I have ever held.

I think you smile for your brother Gavin the most
but you want me all the time.

Your first holiday - 4th of July
you slept through it all.
You've gotten so big already, I'm missing your newborn-ness already.
one week - two weeks
three weeks - four weeks

You have completed our family - we love you so much!!!

It's 12:30 AM

and I'm exhausted.

because of her.
But everyday I love her a little more.
Even though sometimes she drives me crazy and I want to scream
"MY GOD CHILD GO TO SLEEP!!"
or
"WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME??"
All it takes is a little cuddle and maybe a quick smile.

and I'm reminded how absolutely blessed I am.

For my two amazing boys and their beautiful little sister.
We all love her!

Now, goodnight!

A Story by Jared

"Once upon a time there was a ghost.
And he was in the kitchen.
And he was cookin.
He made macaroni and cheese.
And he ate it all.
Then he ate all my fingers.
And he cut off my fingers!
Then he got me new fingers.
The end.
That was a scary story!"

-Jared 2 1/2 years old

She's here!

The end.

I'm sick. I'm tired. I can't breathe. I can't walk. I can't hear.
Contractions are nonstop for days, but they're getting me nowhere.
I have an insane need to get this kid out NOW.
